By creating an account or using FinAI ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of the service

FinAI is an AI-powered personal finance assistant that helps you track income, expenses, and financial habits through a conversational interface. The Service uses third-party AI models (such as OpenAI's GPT-4o Mini) to interpret and categorize the information you provide.

3. Accounts

To use FinAI, you must create an account using a valid email address or a supported third-party provider (such as Google). You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
  • All activity that occurs under your account
  • Providing accurate and up-to-date information

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

4. Subscriptions and billing

FinAI offers a free plan with limited features and paid plans (Monthly and Annual) that unlock unlimited AI messages and additional functionality.

  • Paid subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date.
  • You can cancel your subscription at any time from your profile settings.
  • Prices are subject to change with prior notice.
  • No refunds are provided for partial billing periods, except where required by law.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these terms
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data or to FinAI's systems
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or interfere with the Service's operation
  • Use automated means to access the Service without our consent

6. AI-generated content

FinAI uses artificial intelligence to categorize transactions, generate insights, and respond to your messages. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated responses may occasionally be incomplete or incorrect. FinAI should not be considered financial, tax, or legal advice, and you remain solely responsible for your financial decisions.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms of Service or engage in activity that we reasonably believe is harmful to the Service or other users. You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, FinAI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or through the Service. Continued use of FinAI after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
